Can't really tell u what to do cos I have not seen your boote in action. Something for you to check and make a judgement for urself-

1 Was there a smoke trial at full throttle, no richen it,

2 yes is it bluish or whitish? bluish don't do anything,

3 whitish lean the main needle by 2 clicks, cont until smoke is bluish.

4, Is the rooster tail high > 2 ft? yes, u need to adjust prop thrust angle.

If cannot achieve a low rooster tail, the prop need to be mod. That would be another chapter on props.

I don't think the Cat in the above photo was at full speed, but she was almost at the limit with the B215 prop She's not particularly fast... around 25+ mph... which is about the speed RCBM reported in their review. With a bit of tuning, may get her up to around 30mph. I will try different props to see if I can find the right balance between engine revs and thrust... any recommendations? I think the B215 has a little too much pitch. The B220 is defintely too BIG... saving it for my next project

Can see someone has a need for speed! How about whacking up the Nitro? I think 21 engines can take 30% nitro easily?

Wow, I haven't visited this thread for so long... though it had been archived already

Anyway, the Cat will be taken out of cold storage next Sunday for a run at PP. I was going through my old photo files and found these pictures (taken around Aug/Sep last year

The first shows my Cat being chased down by Zanter's highly modded Nitro Vee. The second made my jaw drop!! That's me coming in for a re-fuel and Zanter's NV screaming past... goes without saying that I never saw him coming Zan, you should fly for the RSAF!!
