thinking of buying a boat which meets the following:
1) less than $200
2) easy to control for 5 year old kid
3) can modify for future use (as the kid grow older, such as change to bigger motor)
4) easy for me to put LED light strips (on AAA batteries) for attractive purposes
5) runs on batteries. (nitro stuff is out for kids)
I saw some of these toys for less than $150 in tai sing toy shop in north bridge road, donno whether worth while or not, so didnt buy
i got some other noob questions:
1) what safeguards can i place to prevent the boat from getting stuck in the middle of the pond? (ie no battery, out of range, propeller got stuck with seaweed....there is no way i am gonna swim to retrieve the boat back)
2) i notice from the hobby shops in fok hai buidling that there are really super pro remote controls. what is the difference between these super pro ones and those that comes with the toy?
