zennith, good idea. However, I'm not sure if it's a good setup if you want to boat it in Bedok Reservoir. Once the motor is in the water, carbon particles are released thru the brushes inside the motor. These carbon particles will be released into the reservoir. It might be a concern for PUB.

The carbon particles doesn't even matter. Carbon particles occur naturally. They are everywhere. And they are not even toxic. Activated carbon will even absorb toxins.
