yep...RTR kits should include TX & RX, and everything else...

Not too sure if batts are included though...

    Hmmm....any brushless RRs yet? I got a 25amps BL esc lying around with a 400class brushless motor....hmmm.....

Aquacraft is one of those company that takes RTR very seriously. Batt and charger is included. All you need is a power point to charge the batt and water to run the boat. OK, the 8 x AA batts to power the Tx are NOT included.

      Reef Racer II
For some people it's important to show what they have, for others it's sufficient to know that they have it.

Wah Dixon... you also have BL in mind like Mad A Go for it guys... I wanna see the BL RRs... should be sick

BTW, the RRs at NTC are $150+ (not $252) complete. As of last week, they had only 4 left... if you're gonna get one, then get them quick. Otherwise, have to wait a month or two for the next shipment.
If in doubt - add more horsepower!

With the number of people who bought RRs lately (at least 5 that I know of), it's only a matter of time before they all appear at PP at the same time playing bumper boats

Yes, the yellow one is the RR driven by Mrs Doraemon... she got airborne after colliding headon with Mike's RR, landed upside down in the pond, then promptly righted herself can't go wrong with these boats Hope you get one soon and join us
hi Doraemon..thanks for the invite..we are glad we made the trip down..it was an eye opening experience for me and wifey..definitely no regrets..

...actually the yellow RR can go pretty fast..this one really caught my eyes while i was at the nearby restaurant earlier on..

but i hope your wifey's boat is ok..sounds like a pretty nasty collision..

thanks for making yr time to come down to pp,i guess u should hav better idea of boating.likewise i suggest u go electric cos there not many things to transport along except the battery cost can be a bomb.as for nitro the consistent running is there(longer run times)but slightly more stuff to tag along n of cos u must lube yr engine wif after-run oil after play cos bearing n crankshaft wil not rust in there so the maintance is there.do drop by ntc if u do pass by cos there hav a number of rtr boats from aquacrafts.
hee...i had to make to trip down to get a better feel mah ..and was glad you were there cos i din know anybody..and yes, thank you for introducing me to the rest of the members..nice to see you and your family having fun together..

yeap, electric would be one that i will go for..thanks for the advice..

              yeah brushless...

But if I do buy it (subject to wifey's approval), i think she'll wanna use it as a training vessel first.....then i shall wait till the brushed motor burn out and it's Project BL on a RR..

BTW, what are the frequencies that you guys already running on your RR?
Can compile a quick list so that if i do get, i won't get a clashing freq?

                  2) uses standard pump gas so its cheaper than nitro
                  3) Its real big and loud (but within db limits) so its a real attention seeker
                  4) its pump and run until you sian........... LOL

                  Go electric!

                  1) silent so no probs running anytime, anywhere
                  2) need good charger and batts may cost a lot 1st time round as you may want a few standby packs.....
                  3) generally no probs and with the right electronisc and batts, you acn be the fastest boat in PP .........
                  yo dirtdynamics..

i don't think noise will ever be a problem right? the area is quite open so shouldn't be that bad..

i have actually quite a few lipos batteries..what minimum capacity do i need to run say, a tug boat? can i use MM450th Motor and Quark 33A esc? hope i don't sound stupid here..

maybe put a freq board instead? i know some heli flyers do that..

noise is not an issue, frequency clash maybe.
Noise is determined by your electronics and how you install them and the materials of the said vehicle, boat , car etc.
cars have Carbon fibre that causes some noise and glitches....

powering a standard tug boat really depends on what size the boat is, and drive you are using.....

you can use lipo and note that the important thing is if you the tug boat need 7.2 volts you can use 2S meaninbg its about 7.4V for 2 lipos.
The mah just tells you how long it will last upon usage.

You can use the quark 33 amp esc as long as your motor can take the amps it gives out .....

thanks..i was refering to noise as opp to silent..you do have a point about glitches though..

and i guess using a 3s lipo will not have any issues, if combined with Quark 33A and the brushless motor then..

if its "noise" you're refering to then its the allowed DB level, and at PP is actually 80-90 DB max.
Ez will have his DB meter in case you have your doubts on your boats output.
