JST connector or Not

Hi all,
Can someone enlighten me, will JST connector degrade a 3S lipo battery performance? Is it necessary to change it to deans? Pls pardon my ignorance .....

Use deans. JSTs cant handle the discharge. They may melt and short the pack.

JST for motor to esc ?

i also have question on the JST connector.

can i use it for the motor to esc/bec connection ?
i do not want to solder them together so that i can move them around for other project ?
i have a few brushed motor but only one esc/bec , saving money here.

BEC - Input : 7~40V, Output : 5V+-0.2V/5A
motors - 300 - 400 range
batt - 3s lipo
