    Keeping Lipo in fridge

read somewhere we should store the lipo in the fridge to prolong its life.

Does anyone do this here? How do you keep the moisture out from the lipos?

    Thanks
    Ken

Do you put food in that fridge ?

Anyway, if you are doing this to save your lipo, the best way is to buy what u need when you need them.

Don't know about putting lipos in fridges.
But if your charger has a 'storage' function, then discharge it using that function which will take each cells' voltage to 3.7V (or is it 3.8V - can't quite remember). Technically, your lipos should be OK.
      Hope this helps.

In theory, lipo aging and deterioration is a chemical process. And the rates of all chemical reactions can be slowed down by lowering temperature.

But it's not worth the trouble to store lipos in refrigerator. Somebody might think it's a chocolate bar

friend, there are many ways to keep your lipo lasting long

          1) always condition your pack first before going all out

          2) keep the temperature of your lipo low(er) in flight

          3) do not overdischarge your lipo pack

          4) do not charge at more than the rating of your lipo

do all these and you don't need a fridge

            Hi Sunstorm
I get 2 to 5 but what did you mean by condition first?
            Cheers
