    Charger or battery spoilt ?

When i bought my rc stuffs about 2 months back at Rotor, i bought along a gws 7.2v 400mAh Ni-Cd batt . the charger is a Super* brand.

Just recently, when i charge my battery it doesnt heat up as in get hot or warm . When i tested it on my plane it did power up but after a few seconds it died~ like those that battery flat.

I thought it was caused by the battery so just 2 days ago i went to Rotor to get a new battery. Same one, 7.2v/400mAh and also a 7.2v/270mAh Ni-Cd .

Both batteries still does not hold charge. Isit safe to conclude that the Charger is faulty? If so.. ANy recommendations for charger ? Im in a tight... very tight budget since i've not received pocket money .

Which character are you test by

If you can connect a voltmeter across the battery with your charger, that would help to tell which one goes wrong.

Do check with your power socket or socket conversion adpator if there is any.
