how many amps have you guys been charging?

You should charge all lipo cells / packs at less than 1C of its capacity. Never charge it more than 1C. 1C is the maximum.

so that means if i have a 3-cell charger then the max batt to charge is 4 cell??
then if i have a 2cell li-ion batt then i should charge 1 cell or 2?

The "C" means battery capacity not cell. For example a 1800mAH lipo max charging current is 1800mA or 1.8A.
