need help in charger

erm i am currently using a turnigy 6s charger , and i want to charging a VX G3 hyperion 6s lipo however the charger says input vol error . anybody know the reason? pls help me tks

What is ur batt capacity??? 2200mah??? What is ur power supply specs and how many amps were u trying to charge with???

I look at the charger and it states that its a 50W charger. I assume ur lipo is the 2200mah. Here is the theory calculation :

P = I V
P = 2.2A x 25.2V(4.2x6)
P = 55.44watts


Here is the power supply requirement :
P = I V
55.44watts = I x 12V
I = 55.44watts / 12V
I = 4.62A

So you would require a power supply capable of producing 12V and ard 6-7A in practise due to some current loss along the wires.

I hope u understand, this is just basic science.

Also in the current world of internet, there is a great encyclopedia called Wikipedia. Even in my work, when faced with problems that I do not understand, I searched Wikipedia first b4 approaching my boss. We do not need to know everything in the world, all we need to know is how to look for the answers. (beg, steal or borrow).

If the charger says input voltage error, your input voltage may not be within the recommended range. Read the manual. What is the recommended input voltage range? Your input voltage could be below or above the recommended range.

do u charge it using the balance charge?if so, u need to connect the balance tab.

Just change your power Adaptor to a 8amp one can already..
