    Tamiya male for Lipo Batt

    Hi everyone,

can you guys help enlighten me on the battery difference.

i have a balancer charger which has both (1)the dean's plug and (2)balancer plug.

but when i bought a new battery , it only has a Tamiya Plug . No balancer plug.

i can buy a converter to convert the tamiya plug to dean plug.

    question 1
can i charge the batt only on the tamiya / dean plug without the balancer plug ?

    question 2
lf my batt is 1300amh, on the charger balancer , what is the output i need to adjust ?

    please advise

    thanks

yes u can use a converter

u can charge via the discharge leads if the cells stay above 3.7V, usually they stay balanced. However, u may want to balance charge them just to be safe or at least once every 3 cycles.

if ur batt has no balancer tab, it is most likely not a lipo but a NiMH or LiFe pack. Please check with the seller. They are quite safe to charge without the balancer.

For Lipo, u'll need to know the cell count and charge usually at 1x Capacity
For NiMH, it is auto for most chargers and u can charge at 2x Capacity or more
For LiFe(a123), u'll need to know the cell count and u can charge at 2x Capacity or more
        For sale
