    Selecting Li-Po battery for Honey Bee 2 3D CP

    Hi , can anybody advice me what is the highest mah I can used for my Honey Bee 2 3D CP Heli.

    My Stock come in 3 cells 1300 mah , forgot the voltage.

    I remember the other time when I try to put a 3 cell in the older version of the Honey Bee fixed pitch type, the battery wire melted and almost burst into flame. Thank God I managed to disconnect it fast.

    So now, I am very caution about getting the right type of battery.

    Please advice.

    When I had the Honey Bee FP, I was using Etecs 2s1p 1200mah packs. Thatz abt 7.4V.

    For 3s1p, it should be abt 11.1V.

      Your stock batt is a 1300mah ??
      My stock only 1000mah, 3cell, 11.1v.

      Don't think can go any higher, or you might burn the 4 in 1.
      The 4in1 sure heat up fast.

      The FP vers is only running on 7.2v - 8.4v.

      Correct me if i am wrong.

        Sorry, mis-read your posting, you are asking for a bigger mah ?

        I heard that its not the mah that will kill but the voltage, is it true ??

          Ditto. The over voltage will fry the compoments.
          My stock battery is 1300mah also. Does your HB 3D come with two battery packs of different mah?

            Not fair, not fair, mine come with 1000 mah, and i brought another original 1000mah for $60

              Wow, which shop did you buy from , is yours a Collective Pitch 3D Honey Bee 2 ?

              I suspect the shop swop the dragon with the phoenix ! I only buy it recently a week ago. Unless ours is the new batch which they upgraded the battery.

              It really feel a different I tried the 1200 mah and 1300 mah(Stock) the 1300 mah got much more power and make the heli more controllable.

              Sad to hear that

              Please name the X-Shop we will stay away
