Hyperion charger-need help.

I posted this issue on another thread but thought it might be missed. So here it is . Bought a new hyperion eos 0606i-b charger. Hooked up my batt to the charger and its balancer and set the charge rate to the batt capacity ie.1850. Got an error message saying something like wrong voltage input. I tried to fiddle with it and got really frustrated...beads of sweat running down my body. Tried lowering the charge rate to 1700 and it worked. Now wondering if I had done something wrong or is the indicated batt capacity is bogus? And if I charge all of my batts with a lowered charge rate, will anything bad happen? Need help urgently. thanx.

Let's take it step by step... I'm here with you

First, You need to set your charger up before you start charging.
Let's say if you need to charge 3 cell, go to batt type, choose Lipo (press enter), select No. of cells : scroll to 3 (press enter), choose your mAh (press enter).

After it is done, connect your main lead (red/black wires) follow by the balancer tab.

PRESS AND HOLD Start and you should get a battery checking sequence start.

ok did that but I get the either a open circuit error message or wrong batt voltage input. Now it is charging when I set the batt charge rate to 1700,

I have no prb with 800mah 2s batt.

Do this with me.

1) Switch off your power.
2) Press and hold ENTER with the power disconnected
3) While holding ENTER, turn the power back on. (remember to hold enter while you power up)
4) You will see a factory reset on the charger.

BTW what is the power rating of your power source?

Can't seem to reset went straight to batt check mode and beebed with message no batt. My power supply is 12/2A.

2A is way too low... try 5A and above. You can only charge small packs with the 24Watt supply. The charger require 50W and above
Tomorrow morning, hook your charger up with your car battery and charge with your 1850mAh settings.
You will feel the difference.

ok will do. However, only some batts are affected. Tried with Aviation batt-no prb. with DN pwr tried with lowered charge capacity-ok. only with DN transmitter batt rated at 2500-got prb. Charged it with e-sky charger-need it for transmitter for tomorrow. Any way Derek thanx.

have a question to ask..
when i scroll into "Nimh Delta peak volt" option mode and just stay at that screen for a few seconds, the charger shuts down by itself and am not able to start it up again for sometime..issit normal?

Hi Derrick bought the Hyperion EOS0606i for a fren, I tried charging the batt, but it always beep "No Battery connected" whats wrong. Tks
