Prolux Lipo charger burnt out!

What is it function??
my frenz repaired the prolux 4 me already actually.
according to him the replacement chip is get fr SLT.
He charged me S$20. Is it reasonable???
and now the prolux can continue serve me

Function of the chip... Well, like a power transistor. Instead of NPN or PNP transistor, it is a high voltage and current MOSFET.
