    lipo running in

    fyi guys
i have been hearing all these stories from walk in customers to out office about running in batteries.
can confirm hundred percent that there is no such need. buy, charge and play.
lithium electrochemistry does not need running in. if anything you are merely shortening the life cycle than anything else. anwone who tells you that you need to run-in lipo packs either had bad quality packs that have not been through a proper formation process or does not know what they are on about. happy flying guys

Is that true? Is there anyway i can salvage the problem or I need to get a new one for my project?
Your charger is unable to rescue your pack as a cel is under voltage. Some of the better chargers can fix this problem of undervoltage cells

What type if LithiumION? Standard LiCO or LiFEPO4 (eg A123)

Oh, i checked the Li-po voltage and it shows 1.81V... and the chargers shows that my balancer is at 1.79V...

    you are so professional

what you talk about is professional.I have many questions and learn from you guys.
In my opinion,it is very important to maintain the batteries .And also
sometimes it is dangerous by wrong use and carless setting.
Many people here should heard of Lipo accident happened in U.S.A.
For example, lithum polymer is hot and active after racing, must make it cool when keep it .
To prevent accident, there is a safety sack for Lipo.

    Noob question.

I just completed my mini titan built and need lipo to do setting now.
What are the advantages for a 3S and 2S lipo? I see that the mAh are the same for both, so should I get 3S or 2S? I only want to fly scale eventually.

I have a question on ESC.

It has a low voltage cutoff at 4.5V.

That means each Lipo cell should not go below 2.25V, for 7.4V pack right ?

ya.. try not to go below 9V for 3s

voltage should go back to >9v quickly.. monitor and if the batt feels warm, if it does, disconnect.
