    Fusion-pack Lipo review

    Hi Guys,

Anyone out there tried Fusion-pack? Thinking of getting 1 to try, if anyone of you try it, can post review here? The price seems good for the quality too.

Read some review at rcgroups though http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...ht=fusion+pack

I have 1 Fusion pack with me for awhile but only had the chance to use it for about 4 flights.. So i cannot tell how many cycles the Fusion pack will last..

Of the 4 flights, i've compared it with other Lipos such as Zippy-R 2200mAh 21C(10 cycles) and Revoletrix 2200mAh 25C(above 25 cycles).. In terms of punch/discharge capabilities, only the Revoletrix and the Fusion pack was on par..

I guess i can only say so much as i've not even run them past 10 cycles yet.. But the power is the most significant..

Side note: I own the Zippy-R's only.. The Revoletrix and Fusion pack that i tested on was borrowed to me for comparing purposes..

    My 2 cents..

Got a pack for a try since all my old packs were almost dead. Not bad so far. Flight time was reasonable good. As what John said, I only tested about 10 flight so far, yet to see how long it going to last.

Hi, tried one flight on fusion 2200mah pack on my ME262. Alot Alot of punch, when i go full throttle, the fan seem like exploding.

Can give it a try on this pack, as the warranty is awesome.

WOW! I just check out the local distri of Fusion Webpage, the new warranty covers 30days Performance Satisfaction Guarantee! Looks like they are coming aggressive man. Wonder how good it will hold up against the Top range lipo like TP and FP, i only tried FP but spoil after over discharged

            Copied from the webpage:

            Effective date: July 01, 2008

            · 30-day performance satisfaction guarantee
            · 90-day warranty on manufacturing defects
            · 50% replacement cost coverage from 90-days to 6-months for internal wiring or defective cells
            · All warranties will be voided from pack alteration, improper wiring, disassembly, cosmetic damage, abuse, or accident
            · Return shipping costs will vary since not all packs must be returned for warranty reimbursement

All lipos will 'die' if being over discharged.. Be careful of how much u drain off ur lipo..

And even if u didnt over discharge it, don't store lipo fully charged for more then 2 weeks.. Even Kong Power will also bloat..

                3S Fusion Pack 2200mah

Completed 13 cycles in 3 weeks on my ME262. So far no bloating. Pack is only slightly warm after flight despite high speed loops and rolls for a standard 5-6 mins flight. I put back an average of 1700mah to 1800mah after each flight. Cells are pretty matched so I only did balancing charge once a week. Like what Louis has mentioned, at full speed, the only worry I have is if my fans can take the push. Power is there definitely during ROG. What left's to be tested is endurance of the battery pack. It should maintain the same punch at ROG and climb for my next 20 cycles flight.

                    Some of you who might be interested in how's the 6s fusion-pack performs. Here's a video on a Trex500 using 6s 2500mah fusion-pack on it's 10cycles by my oversea's business partner.

                          Hey mate,

Pass a pack to me to try out on my Extremeflightrc 58 incher? I currently own Hyperion and FP packs. would be good to be able to do a comparison.

So far I am happier with the Hyperion 3700 5s 25c than FP 3700 25c. Seems to run cooler and hold better consistent power.
Stop looking for a gyro in my plane, they are all in the head.

Seeing the way you fly..you are certainly the right guy to test the full potential of any 5s battery pack.
