here are some questions which i hv:

    1. where and which brand of lipo should i look for?
    2. are they soldered together?
    3. heard triton offers the best long term plan charger? where can i order? what else do i need to use triton charger?
    4. any other charger i can try?
    5. how long of flight time can i achieve using lipo?

    1. Depend on your budget. So far I am quite satified with ETec 1700mAH (10C)

    2. They came as a pack without terminal.

    3. Triton is one of the good charger. You could get it from b-p-p. You definitely need a 230Vac to 12Vdc power supply to power the Triton.

    4. I have tried T26 Active Power before, but I don't like the auto-detect feature for the NiCd and Nimh.

    5. Depend on how much your motor take and the way you fly your airplane.

I find that the Triton is not really efficient with Lipos. The best I've tried so far are the Apache2500 chargers...dedicated lipo charger.

I managed to charge my Etecs 1700 to a higher capacity than what my Apache gave me... after charging at Triton, apache will detect the batt as battery error.. (voltage too high).
but after discharging, apache accepts it once more.
        huh

Strange...your triton vs. apache gave the opposite result for me.....My triton after finish charging my lipo pack, and I plug in to the apache immediately after, it'll still have to charge about 10-30mins with 200mah setting on the apache. If i do the reverse, triton will not accept the charge.

My other older lipo are reviable in the Apache, but the triton doesn't like it...Mainly using Kokam packs.
