    decharging lipos

do u think i can dis charge my 7.4 volt 1600 lipo with one of those small gws motors ?

Discharging Li-Poly to below 3V per cell will surely and if not, shorten the lifespan of the battery.

Lithium Polymer IS NOT the same as NiMH or NiCad!!

Yup, any reason why you would want to discharge your lipo?

i recharged it today and it flew in my aero bird pretty well.

lipos need to work in a vacum. If there is a hole, the gel and oxygen may create an unstable condition and causes a combustion.
