    Silver Bearing solder

Anyone using this? Issit much better than the normal non silver lead tin solder?

Is there a significant power boost from batteries using these silver solders to soldered wire joints?

I have used Silver solder before and I notice you will need high heat to melt the solder...

I use silver+tin solder nowadays for the sack of RoHS.
Need a bit of higher temp. Overall OK.

unlike lead-tin solder, silver-tin solder have expiry date (for flux?) if i'm not wrong.
I don't what will happen after it expires but just an info for all to take note

When it expires, got to buy newer flux to use loh. Then need to manually dab the parts to be soldered with flux for easy flow. Flux is essential to get those nice looking solder jobs.

Does it boost the performance of your setup?
