    Soldering Deans Connectors

I need to solder Deans connectors to my Lipos.

Some say not to use ordinary solder (lead solder), some say to use Alumimium solder.

Is it safe with ordinary solder from hardware shops? Or do i have to get the aluminium one?

Normal solder for wires, Al solder for cell.

If you are soldering the wires from the lipo pack to the DEAN connector, you should be using normal 60/40 solder (60% tin / 40% lead) ie. you should use normal solder if you purchased lipo pack off-the-shelf and want to solder the red and black wire to the DEAN connector.

Al solder is only if you are soldering the lipo cell and making the lipo pack yourself.
