Some funny thing about my lipos.

I have an Etec 2 cell 1250 mah rated at 12C and a stock 800mah Esky lipo rated at 10C.

However when I tried the Etec lipo on my Lama V3, what I realised is that the uplift force generated by my lama is not as powerful as the stock 800mah Esky lipo.

I held the lama in my hand then I punched up the throttle stick. The difference is very significant.

My question is, the Etec lipo rated at 12 C should be able to sustain a higher current than the stock Esky lipo right? Is the Etec lipo overrated at 12C??

Forgot to mention that both lipos are charged with the same charger and has the same charged voltage.

AnywayI was holdin the heli in my hands when I increase the throttle. The uplift force I can feel is very different. The uplift with the stock lipo is much stronger. Does this mean that I have a bad lipo?

cant be, with the other batt it was ok..

But it doesn't warm up like the stock esky lipo....

Funny right? Maybe it is the connector. I will get a new connector and try again.

BTW it is 1250mah not 1000mah.

Bro does yr lipo batt feel warm after flying...mine warm up...heard that is no good for a lipo batt to be warm...

No it doesn't warm up.... but the heli can only lift off on ground effect. I flew it for about 5 min but yet it doesnt warm up at all. It can only fly on groudn effect as the lift produced isnt' as much as the stock 800mah 10c lipo.

Maybe another thing is yr 1250mah batt is kind of heavy..infact the 12c compare to 10c doesnt make much diffs..the higher mah will onli have a longer fly time...

Im currently using Xtreame 850mah 18c - 20c, the power and punch is so much diffs compare to the 12c / 10c

My batt onli feel warm if i fly more then 10mins non-stop..
