    tp1320 hp help.

Hi all. i've got two peices of this battery and i dont want to over draw them and kill them. whats the highest amp draw you have used with this battery?

i'm using 8 amps on it and i know it's definately within limits but i heard stories of it bloating even without over drawing the battery or over discharging it.

care to share some experience anyone?

if i didn't recall wrongly it should be a 12C pack...

    so doing some maths...

    12 x 1.32 = 15.84

So you should be able to draw 15amps out easily... of course it will be a little warm once u land... but should not bloat...

surge should be about 15C... which puts it about 19amps...

try not to use surge .... will kill the lipo WAY ahead of its normal life spand...

10amps is a good current draw for this batt. should last quite a while.

yup. You'll feel like the packing a little "fatter" and like got air inside... do take note that if it keeps happening even if you're not using high amp draw it might be the cell is spoil already.

If thats the case and you haven't done anything unusual (eg, overcharging it, orverdrawing it, dropping it during flight) you should take it to the seller and ask for a exchange or refund cause that should not happen with any lipos.

Cheers!! have fund with your plane

oh ok sounds scary. any particular reason that kind of thing happens? any way to avoid it or is it shear bad luck one gets a cell like that?
