How long to charge

hi im flying a honeybee FP...but the manual soesnt indicated how long to charge the batter (STOCK) how long do u guys charge and for lipo how long is the charging time too...Thanks

if u charging using the stock charger which is not charge above 1A
i believe you can charge it as long as you wanna

i think it should be an hour when its full

its all depend on the capacity of ur batt & the charging rate of ur charger, in regardless of ur stock or lipo batts

If u r using stock batt n stock wall charger, there won't be any light indicator

or i think if u have the time.

u can use your hand to feel the batt once in 15 min

if the batt is warm, the batt is fully charge

i mean in the end, u would wanna upgrade in lipo and it helps alot

Oops.. paiseh.. mine is the HBK2 .. It does have light indicator RED and GREEN.
Once done, the green goes off.

Battery never warm up after it is done. I keep a close eye on it ensure i disconnect it within 2-3mins.

but what happen if the green light blinking and the red light stay....

no problem, nothing to be paiseh of, all of us is here to learn new things, including me

btw i'm also using th Esky charger, but dunno y i charge full le, but the light indicator doesn't go off.

For example, i'm using a 1200mhz lipo batt, the balance charger charges at 800mhz/hr rite? so by rite 1200mhz should take 1.5hrs to be charged.
But i charged to almost 2 hrs liao but the green light still there, afraid that the batt will get bloated, so i never charge further

now i have bought this charger...im wondering , when charging the red and green light will stay...after an hr the red light stay but green light flashes...what u mean by drip current charging...?

It suppose to have the red light stay and green light off when fully charge right..?

1.The power light will be red when power on.if not,please check the power supply.
2.Charger light steady green,it is charging,if red and green flash,it indicates error charge.
3.The charger light flashing green indicates the battery will be full.After the green light blackout,please cut the power supply,the charge is complete.

One thing, information not very consistent. Some merchants claimed this is a balance charger while some are not. Geez!

Hope your batt is not damaged in anyway(Over-discharge/charge).. Get better equipment to test your battery voltage. This charger give you no clues on the juice remaining..

yup, so far my batt dun have any bloated sign coz the max time i charge is 1.5 hrs, no matter the green light stay or not.

Anyway coz normally i will fly the heli until it is ard knee height wif full throttle, then I will charge it already.

So I hope i never over discharge or charge the batts.

You may have a faulty charger perhaps..

If got spare cash, go get a voltage tester first... then good charger & balancer later.

Which now I'm checking which particular charger/balancer is good... so many types..

then later find which batts is good... so many types...

Damn addictive hobby... making me spend faster than saving!

maybe, but my flying time is ard 25 mins, so i think still alright for that charger. Maybe when i have save enough, then go into those items u recommended.
