T15 with lipo

can i use my T15 to charge 2s 7.4v for my HB FP ? I don't have
balancer, should it be ok ?? just charge like a normal battery.

in the T15's manual why it stated :
1-5 lithium ion or lithium polymer cells (type: 3.6v or 3.7v)
means if i buy lipo 7.4v i cannot charge ??

1 lipo cell = 3.7 v
2 cell in serial or 2s = 3.7 + 3.7 = 7.4 v

just select 2s lipo to charge or 7.4v will do,
using max 1C for your amp setting or the mAh shown on your lipo.
e.g. 1C of 2000mAh = 2Amp.

want to use balance how long is the lifespan of the lipo?

since you are using the lipo for heli, suggest you use the balancer,
as the current drawn/burst rate of the lipo will be higher.

higher grade lipo will suffer less off balance.

can u explain what is 10C / 12C ?

C rating is the discharge rate capability of the batt

eg. for a 1000mAh battery with a 10C rating it means it can discharge 10A continuously, with 12C, it is 12A

basically u take the capacity, in this case 1000mAh or 1Ah X the C rating and u get the continuous discharge current.

as for the batts, the first grp from rotor, are they esky batts?? if they are, they and the DN ones probably wont be any different since they are basically China made cells. Just get the one with a balancing tab, and one with the best capacity-weight-C rating-cost ratio.
