I remember last time when it first acme out..
The small one was $180+ and the big one was $300++..

In my opinion, might as well get a triton with thermal probe..
    more value for money!
Or the hobbico accucycle elite charger at $250+ is also not bad!

Long time never research chargers le..
Coz i only charge my TX with wall charger and my lipos with the
prolux charger, quite a cheap and capable lipo charger!

Hi PhiBer, I don't have a prolux but I am curious about the cell voltage after complete charge, can you measure and post it?

      Thanks

Only tried 2S, they are at 8.34 after charge..
for 3S, it's not so ideal..
do a search for prolux.. got tip to fix it..

So its $60 for a 2s charger. Maybe their target market is 2s users. I wouldn't mess with the circuits, the components may overheat and become unstable. Unless u know which components to upgrade.

No la.. i meant the 3s charge to like 12.3 instead of 12.4volts..
Doesn't really matter, it's a cheap and good charger!
To make it charge abit more, juz open it up and adjust
              the voltage regulator inside..

Using it now for my 2s/3s packs!

Yup... Open up and tune. I think I post it somewhere before on how to tune it.

BTW... I'm using that charger also. Note that Rotor Hobby also carry that charger.

My recommendation to whoever is going to use it, make sure u measure the voltage throughout the whole charging stage.

If u notice that the voltage is too low, (Try to reach 8.4V for 2cell or 12.6V for 3Cells) u need to tune it.

Oh.. Recently I found another fault/limitation of this charger. Make sure u connect to 12V i/p. DO NOT CONNECT more than 13V or higher or else your battery will not get full charge (it is like 11V for 3Cells)

The big Tahmazo has higher specs than the triton (quite alot actually). Trition can charge only up to 3 cell lipos, the tahmazo, 10. 26 cells of Nicds or NiMh. It has a LCD backlight and thermal probe as well.
