    charger/balancer combo??

helo like to know whether which combo is a better choice?

    T15 +TP205 balancer
    or
    X-Power (#601AD) Intelligent Digital Multifuctional Charger/Discharger +Tp205

I am not sure wats the current T15 spec but the X-power seems to give more function.

    1. Delta-peak sensitivity
    2. Temperature limit:
    3. Processing time limit:
    3. Input power monitor:
    4. Monitoring the voltage of individual cell
Unbalance of voltage of each cell can occur in the Lithium battery pack because of consecutive charge and discharge. Using ‘Balance-guard’ the charger monitors the voltage of each cell and controls the charge and discharge current to equalize the voltage. For this process the charger communicates with external balance-guard by the Data store / load.
    5. store maximum 10 data of different batteries

The no. 4 seems to be like a balancer function

      I'm using X-Power (#601AD) Intelligent Digital Multifuctional Charger/Discharger +Tp205.

No problem at all. Juz charge as normal wif the balancer plugged into the batt.

I think that you will need an external power adaptor.

The xpower has a balance charging function that allows you to see the individual cell voltage while charging. This allows you to see whether the cells are balanced or not. I don't think that the TP205V balancer will enable you to see the voltage of the individual cell on this charger.

Has anyone modify the connector of the communication cable to enable it to use on this charger to test whether it works with balance charging?

If the balance charging of this charger would not work with this balancer, then its balance charging is not utilised. Then, it is not a good combination.
            I have seen them all.

To me it is good, it is better than my previous charger. Prolux 1-3cell li-po charger. So far I used it to charge li-po, Ni-cd n Nimh. All no problem at all. I did not fully utilised the charger's functions.

The temp. probe n usb link is still new-in-pack.

I do not have the link between charger n balancer for lipo balance charging so jus charge the lipo wif the TP balancer plugged in. No fuss at all. Probably I'm not such a detailed person who wana know the capacity of each individual cell. As long as it works, I'm happy. Maybe I'm better off stick to my Prolux charger.

ok so the charger require additional power supply

like to ask whether which power supply suitable?

                I-POWER (#IP0005) AC to DC 12V/4A Transformer
                or
                I-POWER (#IP0001) AC to DC 12V 16A Transformer (2Ch)

or is there one that is made for x-power and sold in hobby shop?

I think its best u go to Jet Hobby n have a look at the physical item n throw all ur question at him.

I'm no electric guru, a simple notebook style DC adapter works for mine. The charger has two options for DC input. Croc clips n female plug. Notebook adapter comes wif male plug.
