X-power AD601 with lipo balancer

Hi All,

I lost my manual for the x-power charger... and i recently purchase a new lipo balancer.. i tried to connect the x-power to the balancer but when i start charging, the x-power always prompt connection break.. is there a setting i need to enable in order for the x-power to detect the balancer?

Did u press and hold the balancer button for it to 'link' it to the charger?

there is no button on the balancer... i bought this one from sky hobbies..

Monitoring the voltage of individual cell
Unbalance of voltage of each cell can occur in the Lithium battery pack because of consecutive charge and discharge. Using ‘Balance-guard’ the charger monitors the voltage of each cell and controls the charge and discharge current to equalize the voltage. For this process the charger communicates with external balance-guard by the Data store / load.

Wat does the balance-guard mean ? Or do u need to plug the balancer thru tis so call Data store/load

I have the same prob. before, check the fuse on the balancer mine was blown. Very happy with the balancer a fully charged 3s 2200mAh li-po able to get 4.20 4.19 4.20v godd value for money.

You mean you can check the individual cell voltage on the Xpower charger using Hyperion balancer? I am using Shark balancer and is connected to the Xpower charger using a servo type cable. With the Shark balancer, I can select Bal-charging on the Xpower charger and individual cell voltage indicated will charging.
