    AA size rx pack?

Anyone ever tried building a rx pack using 5 AA size batt instead of 2/3A size? Whats the amp discharge rate for AA and 2/3A and will using 5 cell AA pack kill the rx?

5 cell AA will not kill the Rx, but may not have enough current to supply the servos. It will drain more current than using a 4 cell setup. (4 cell is already barely enough if you use digital servos.. I tried 4 stock+1digital, and my 4AA voltage jumps like crazy after 1 flight.)
    huh

        paiseh.. car I dunno. I wasn't comparing to 2/3A.
I built a 4*AA 1800 using GP AA cells, and used it for 4 stock servos, 1 digital servos, 1 gyro, for heli.

My voltspy show "yellow" rate after 1 flight of about 15 minutes.. although battery drained around 4-500mAh.

            05x AAA 720mah cell = 6V

used in my nitro mugen 1/10 MTX 3 / 950R - supports 2 high speed digital servo for continus 50mins of racing.
i'm a rc sotong. And i know nuts about it.
