har ..... you like dirt and smell .... join the army you will get a lot of it free .....
I love EP clean and fast even not as powerful as nitro, but good enough for me
BTW back to business, mack's 1700 is 2s or 3s for.... ask him... and what capacity aircraft world is selling for $70..... 2s2p? Why 2P when one capacity is enough for the job????
Actually... I like Nitro cause I can fly and fly for many times.. no need charge and charge...
Mack's prices.. PM him... don't post it here.
2P mainly because of the discharge current...
I feel happier knowing my LiPo can support more than 15A.. I don't want a burning plane in case make any silly mistake and exceed the capacity
Thanks did not about that, has edit my post ...... sorry
I use 2P because did not want too much stress on the motor and ESC, as performance can be improve over power to weight ratio.
Only concern now is the benefit of power over the extra weight from the 2000 better or 1800 is sufficient. May be only under actual condition will tells. I am looking into the 2s rather then the 3s.
Hahaha, seems like we're seeing something from the future.
it's important that burst discharge rates are only used for bursts in reality, else u'll kill the cell real quick
ah tat is using the 1800mah blue packs for his Hornet 2.
At the end of a 3D routine the packs are barely warm. Also they hold the voltage very well and are better than the Kokam 1500's.
With the 1800's he has to let the voltage bleed off some before he can go into idle up as the battery's voltage is higher under load and causes his headspeed to shoot up a 100 or 200 rpms more causing vibes.
The 1800's are already heavy....I think the 200o's are way too heavy though..

It is important that it is not the battery goes hot or not. It is whether can it survive after 1 month. All my kokam battery (3Cell 1500mAH from SHS, total 3 packs) all dies off after around 1 month to 1 month plus.
I have E-Tec 1200HP that I bought from mack and I put a sticker stated the date that I first use it. My first E-Tec pack is stated as Jun 01, 2004 and now still working well. I have another one that mark as July 06, 2004 and also very good. At the end of my flight, the battery is hot.
So the bottom lines is that can those battery from Jet Hobby can withstand for long usage or not. I already boycott Kokam since then.
