I tried making use of an old ATX power supply. 200+ watts, without load, 11.2
1) Connect Green to Ground
2) Connect grey to Red (Power-OK to +5v) <-- why ar ?
3) Tried these loads on red + ground:
a. 5watts, 33 ohms resistor
b. 1 light bulb
c. 2 light bulbs
d. 10 ohms, < 1 W resistor
e. 10 watts, > 100 ohms resistor
4) Connected volt meter cross yellow + grnd, but only get 11.2+ little Volts.
How come ar ? I though the load suppose 'maximize' its power ? Anybody can teach me how :P I tested all 3 power supplies of mine, all < 12 volts. I need to power a Apache 2500 for 3S lipo.
Anybody can enlighten me a little?
