    Need Help: Self-discharged Cell?

    Hi guys,

Last night after full charge of my 3s pack, I accidentally dropped the pack. Throughout the night till this morning, I noticed the pack is warm and so I did a voltage check on each individual cell. And to my suprise, one of the cell is inbalance and self discharging itself-voltage dropped gradually.

With this finding, is this particular cell damaged and got to be discarded? Any chance of saving the cell?

    Your advise is greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Lee

Your cell had internal micro shorts. It is best to discard the damaged cell.

That's cells damage. Probably due to the drop impact.
Salvage the 2 & dispose properly the damage cell.
Do not attempt to charge or use it. It may explode or catch fire.

Infact, I have tried to charge it for several times and the max peak voltage is only 3.9V, can't go higher. Luckily, nothing happens. will dipose this damaged cell and re-configure the pack to 2s for IFO flying.

        Thanks guys!!
