What C rating or amp should i choose when doing fast charge?
Currently I am using triton charger. Say i going to fast charge a 3cell 2100mah 15C lipo.

Charge at 1C regardless of capacity and discharge ratings UNLESS stated(like some car lipo packs).

so how long does charging a 15C battery at a rate of 1C?

discharge rating has nothin to do with charging speed! Anyway, THEORATICALLY, any lipo batt should take 1 hour to fully charge.(at 1 C) But realistically, a fully discharged lipos takes around 1.5 hours to charge depending on charger. Charging at 1C in ur case for ur 2100mah batt means 2.1A.

Currently there is only 1 fast charger for lipo.

Several magazines I read gave it good review. It can fast charge a Lipo in 20minutes to about 80-90% capacity. But it cannot fast charge it to 100% since the cell will damage/explode.

Maybe you can ask NTC if they have this..
                  they carries products from fmadriect.
Or order from fmadirect.. they are reliable.
                  huh

Hai... my triton charger can only goes to 2.5A, its like only 1.2C for my 2100mah battery. 2.5A takes about 45mins an 2.1A takes 1 hour.
After reading the notes from thunderpower, it states not more that 1C charging.
BTW I wonder how those guys charge their battery that fast in the field.

ur lucky ur battery has some range of tolerance otherwise you would have bloated ur lipo. If u see ppl in ur field charging very fast it means either he is recharging Ni-Mh batts or he has not fully discharged his lipo or both.

I did try charging ETec 1700mAH with Prolux charger at higher than 1C (2Amp charging). It works and the time do really cut down abit. But if u charge more than 1C, the battey actually get slight warm. If charging more than 1C (lets say 2C), I believe the 80%~90% charging does get shorter but battery may get even warmer. That may not good for battery.

                          i abit confused over this..
so if i'm using a 2200mAh batt then wat mAh should i use on the prolux charger?
                          plz advice.

1C is 2200mah in your case. So you can charge at 2A or a little higher at 2.5A but i always thought you should not go higher than 1c for lipos...stick to max 2A is my recommendation.
