Anyone knows of other method of removing the pinion gear beside making use of the pinion puller which is rather costly. Thank you in advance...

Hi,
I read this method in rcgroups forum:
- clamp the can
- heat the pinion with a mini blow lamp (think they refering to those cigar lighters). This removes the anti-lock that has been applied
- pull out the pinion with pliers (it is suppose to slide right off!)
Have not tried this but guess it's no harm if u got a dead motor and want to salvage the gear.
Cheers!
