I use the mpx spinner. It's not that expensive anyway

MPX spinner is fine and colourmatched. I use --------- Aluminium turbo spinner which works great. Plenty of scrapes and nose-in but spinner is still fine and spins true. SingaHobby has pastic turbo spinner sets (which I think are Tahmazo/Ok Model type) with aluminium yokes which should work fine.

Bro. How long does it take for your item to come from hobbit king to sg? I just purchased on the 21st.

Have you run a static test yet?

This combi might be stressing the motor some, if you pull extended runs at full throttle. My dccalc software says about 60 amps draw at WOT. Might be more on a fully charged batt.

Apart from that.... I think it should be a very nice performer. Have fun.

Well I guess if it just needs a few seconds to get to altitude then it should be fine. Good luck with the maiden and please give us your flight report.

                    Cheers,
                    Adnan

which Part of My post u dont get? All the details are there. Are you a speed reader? Being sarcastic doesn't help. A friendly advice goes a long way.

Anyhoo, yes it is overkill. Did a little static test without any equiptment, esc felt warm on 10 secs half throttle. Going down prop size to 9x6 range. Not going 11 as recomended by motor manufacturer.

Still got no time to fly lah Adnan. thought today can make it, alas got to do chores. Sigh...

Sorry... I did miss out on a lot of details... left eye got stamp..

I had similar setup, 35 size on 1400kv, max I can go is 9 x 8 prop.. and I am talking about holding full throttle for at least 2 minutes. Motor was hot but not fried..Did at least 10 flights on full throttle... By the way... it flies really fast..

Later if you are tired of this motor, yes you can try out with your original props. Anyway how you can fly it is just hold full throttle 5-10 seconds, climb until cannot see, then diiiiveee~! And hear the nice whistle.

aye aye. I'm a bit sceptical because with the whole setup, the whole plane feel kind of heavy. Hence, the 11x8 prop n also bcoz of the manufacturer recommendation. But I'm takin u guys advice and propping it smaller.

No way you can full all the way with 11 x 8 prop on 1450kv motor, it will burns out in 60 secs or less...

I think you might miss out a small line saying" Do not hold full throttle for more than 10 secs on 11 x 8 prop".. jOKIN...

The manufacturer wants you to buy another motor, that's why THEY recommend such crazy prop size..
