hmm...so should I temporary secure it to the fuselage with a string or something while tuning it?

    How do u tune it?

Bench run the whole set up before moving it to the plane?

    Thanks for sharing your knowledge

For fuel proofing, which chemical should I use for the easiest way to get a uniform spread? I know that, epoxy can be used for fuel proofing, but I find that it is difficult to spread epoxy evenly. Thank you for answering my question

Almost ready to maiden my Zen 50 liao...

Left the following stuff to be done,
                  1) Install and secure the receiver, onboard battery and switch.
                  2) Run in engine.
                  3) Calibrate the tune pipe.
                  4) Secure calibrated tune pipe to wing.
                  5) MAIDEN flight!
                  6) Cut cowling, install pilot and canopy, paste the decals.

before all the above tasks, can anyone advise me on how to secure the receiver and battery? I understand that for a clean setup, I can somehow use velcro to secure these two removal electronics part (dun have to stuff the compartment with tons of sponge, like what I did my Scanner ). But I dun have any idea how to go about doing it. Anyone have any pictures to show?

I also need to somehow glue back into place streamers that have started to peel off. What's the best way to glue back (leaving good finish and firm grip on the surface)? Simply use epoxy or CA or plain glue or iron it back? Thank you in advance for any advise given

You need to use finishing epoxy - the kind that is used for fibreglassing, not the regular epoxy you would use to glue things together. Finishing epoxy is thinner and has a wetting agent to allow it to be painted on smoothly. I use Z-poxy??? (I think that is what its called) available at NTC. The marine paint manufacturers have similar types of epoxy for glassing as well.
