i tried putting the bit's from an x-twin onto one of those stick, rubber band planes, but the antenna snapped, during the gutting, u think it's possible to solder it back or smth?

it is not recommended to solder back the broken antenna. U should change the whole antenna

yes those tiny copper wire breaks off easily.
i use receiver wires.
about 15cm in length, the range of it be 2 x the normal one.

i try putting the electronics on a f 18 mini foam stock model.
wing was about 12cm.
it did fly, but nose dive after it make a turn.
so maybe can scout around for cheap and good toy glider kit.

take any piece of wire.
as tiny as possible, but not copper wire.
then re solider it back to the circuit.
