mini cessna 182

this is just a small simple plane.
good for children to start of with the hobby or flying it in the house to out of the window.
just finish with the fuselage.
will mount in x twin electronics for this plane.
will maiden it tomorrow out of the window.

now the electronics are in. did not manage to fly it today.
the electronics are from a X twin acrobat toy plane,
3 channel, but i broke the elevator channel wires,
but for this mini plane 2 channel is enough.
full throttle to climb drop below half throttle to descend the plane.
it turns left and right by the different turning speed of the two powerful brush motors.

i also add it a a flashing blue light from a spoil picooz helicopter.
with a switch to it.
it glides quite okay(a little tail heavy at 1/3 of the wing), will fly it tomorrow and see the results.

yes i cut all the parts from a 5mm compressed foam, and slice it into half, so it is around 2.5mm
plus the sanding, it will be around 2mm.
by sanding it, makes the foam more flexible, easy to glue and withstand crash against the wall and trees.

all electronics are from a x twin plane. i brought it for 19.90.
it runs on a 3.7 v lipo.
and two motor.
no servos.
this is just a 2 channel plane

uh i got a sports flyer too. i extend it wings to 1m... it floats and weee it won't come down and got stuck in a tree that took me 30mins to throw stones at it.

then i add in 2 lipo in serial... and woot! it can do loop at full throttle and climb way high but controlling abit retarded when turnning left and right.

at daiso i saw $2 free hand gliders warbird with landing gear. interested in doing projects?
