Alamak Ed, why must you always jump the gun? I also don't know can maiden this coming weekend or not
Anyway, only managed to do up the ply control horns, aileron servo and rods, i'm using the Du-Bro 20" long Micro pushrod system (abt. S$7.50 per pack from NTC) comes complete with EZ connectors for a secure fit, mmm... sounds like a TV commercial
I decided to use back the 10mm thick foam ailerons, it does not flex much throughout the length, it would also help to keep the weight down.

Sorry i forgot to mention how i mounted the futaba spare servo arm onto the 5mm dia. CF tube on the canard, drill with 1.5mm drill (from DAISO @ IMM), damn cheap (S$2) and comes with a handlel!
Then insert 1/32" music wire and bend both sides, drip a drop of CA onto it and let it wick into the CF tube and VOILA! DONE !

Added 1/32" thick Birch ply to the forward bulkhead, so that the 2mm dia. CF rod can have a tight fit, everything must measure properly from here, don't want to get the two holes drilled out of alignment

At this moment, the two wingtips are being fibreglassed, only the curved foam inner wingtip side will be glassed, trying to keep weight down then i will be trimming off excess fibreglass tomorrow night, left with gluing the wingtips and sorting out position of lipo battery for proper CG.

Edmond22 has so kindly T-loaned me his NEW Himax 2025-4100 BL motor c/w Tamazo 4:1 gearbox, motorcalc showed very good numbers, should have enough UuuumhF for take-off !

Thanks guys for the kind words
And thanks to Edmond22 for T-Loaning me his new Himax 2025/4200kv BL motor.
Have completed installing all electronics as shown, wingtips have also been trimmed and excess fibreglass sanded away.
For canopy securing, i drilled a 5mm hole thru' from top of canopy to inside of main wing, and into the 10mm X 10mm hardwood stick mount, a 5mm dia. aluminium hollow tube is then inserted and epoxied permanently, on top of the canopy, i made a pin clip out of 2mm dia. music wire, yup that's not from tamiya racing cars, it's done with just a small long nose pliers from "DAISO" and scrap 2mm dia. music wire Drill a hole across and it's done, got this idea when i was playing with Tamiya Grasshopper Buggy Initially wanted to use 5mm dia. CF hollow tube but it kept splitting up when i hand-drilled it , so it's hopeless, aluminium tube better lah
AUW is 750 grammes on the dot, did a full throttle static thrust test, i'm happy to report it wanted to take off vertically from my palm at about 70% throttle, i was holding the nose cone when testing, amps draw at WOT is 12.8 amps, half throttle amps is 8.1 amps, using APC 9X6E prop, not slow fly prop.
