Who in the right frame of mind would like to launch and fly his plane without a canopy? Who in the right frame of mind would fly his plane with a nose so badly pointed skywards that when launched, it almost do a loop? These are not misleading statements!!!

Since you like to move on, yeah let's move on but I guess that forumers are now aware that they can't depend on what you posted because you got no results to prove it when pressed for them.

As I've said before and will say it now, Good Luck to your ever-no-ending quest to use cheapo fan and motor to get the high thrust, high speed and low current for EDF. Hope I won't be to old to see that it's patented under your name.

This topic very interesting, I like the tea blending as well.

Just my 2 sense, if a jet or a propellor models can give unlimited vertical performance, then planes like P51, F14.....F22, MIG Xxx will have service ceiling close to the edge of space. In theory, thrust > than wt, it should continue to climb infinately if all else remains constant. Unfortunately, the higher the plane climbs, air becomes thinner - resulting in lower thrust. When the thrust is < mass+gavity - it comes down to earth. This is the reason they use rocket engine for space craft - the higher it flies the faster it can propel the craft.

Perhaps in modelling terms "unlimited vertical" refers to higher than the cirrus clouds on a clear day or tx range? That is pretty awesome.

I hope the above help shed some light.
