found this very cheap 3500kv motor only $19 from http://www.skyhobbies.com.sg/Brushle...or_TOPBAND.htm

I wonder if this will be good for funjet?

Saw another topband motor with almost the same KV but higher amp draw. Any idea which will be better?

Higher amp draw motor or low amp draw motor but with the same KV rating?

I assume a higher amp draw motor will be faster and can support bigger prop as compare to a lower amp draw motor with the same KC rating?

yes the one that draws higher current prob has more torque/turns, which will enable you to turn a bigger prop, and do a better vertical climb....but becareful on getting too much torque, which may result in unnecessary torque roll esp on low passes

but at the end of the day specs are just specs...put them into practice and the real difference will show. i've had 2 funjets already. one was on a hacker, the other, an ammo 2700kv. performance was good on both, hacker smoother though (but i guess that's wut you get for paying more ;)) 20C batteries are work perfectly well if you want a comfortable flight (it is still rather fast, but not as fast if someone uses a 45C or something). Then again are you into racing and risk buying another one at NTC?, or just flying fast and enjoying yourself?

anyways my set up for reference as follows:

            Ammo 28-35-2700kv
            XC3012BA XController 30A ESC (dualsky)
            2200mah 11.1V 20C (RFI)

got them off this online store winghobby (approx 160 for the setup)..does quite cheap small electric parts...their link is on ----- forum (cuz i know i'd be banned if i posted them here). alot of these new internet website shops nowadays springing up like nobody's business...but hey as long as we get the goods at a good price, i dun think anyone's complaining (or at least im not)!
