CG question

Hi All,

just to check, is the CG of 30mm from LE correct? At this CG, my FJ pitches down alot and require abt 30% up elevator to enter a smooth glide. Motor is off so it shouldn't be due to thrust angle.

CG is correct. if you have the later batches of FJ there is a dimple below that marks the CG. but from the description it is nose heavy so I suggest u try to push back the CG by about 5mm to 10mm and try again.

and I presume you are flying horizontal with power so you may need to adjust thrust angle too after you get the correct CG.

Will move CG back and try again..so far I can't get any horizontal flt w/o alot of elev input

On the thrust angle: upthrust will cause the nose the pitch up? and downthrust, down pitch? Just to confirm...
