    V-Tail mixing.

    hi guys,
    does any1 know wat is V-Tail mixing n eleavon mixing.
    Im would like 2 also know wat a retracts n wat is it used for...

    Hi Vin,

    V-tail usually refers to planes without a vertical fin. The stabilizer is canted upward to form a V. The pitching and roll is controlled by the control surfaces on the V-tail. This is known as V-tail mixing. NAd the control surfaces now known as Eleavon, meaning Elevator and Aileron.
    Retracts refers to retractable gears. Some of the bigger and nitro planes will have retracts to store their gears to reduce drag. But with mini and micro retracts available in market, even electric plane can install them too.
