My recommendation is instead of putting in a larger motor may be you can try the IPS motor.

Increasing the prop pitch will usually have a lot of effect. Sometime the difference is between flying well and unflyable.

Use those gws stuff .....prop adaptor and small direct drive prop ....I use that on my P51 works fine .....good luck

Yes, mine is aileron with elevator.......some mode on the wing too. Reinforced with carbon rod and additional 3mm compress foam glue to the underside of the wing to change the wing airfoil shape.

Some pic taken from my old P51 building threat, hope it helps.....BTW my P51 AUW (inclusive of 450 mAh lipo) is at 128.7g......

yes, it does, but make sure your motor can support as well... I know some 380 motor cannot take 3cells

Successful madien my Corsair (again)

today I re-madien my corsair again... at first was abit worry cos my AUW is now 220g aft the mod... and slight wind as well

so I full throttle and give it a hard throw, it climb up quickly and I up evalator to level it and it fly well... did not except it to be so stable aft the mod and weight increased.. it turn like with aerilon effect coool...

abt 3-4min.. this guy still flying very well, turning smoothly n even done a loop really scaled look... however just a sec I was not looking at it.. suddenly I found it going down....landed head on prop broken and the head portion as well...

all in all... it was a succesful madien, just one word of caution to those newbie like me.... NEVER TAKE YOUR EYES OFF THIS PLANE....

my mod
chg the stock motor = 180 motor
prop size = 0650 with prop adaptor
batt = 2cell 480mAh
ESC = 3800Li GWS
Rx = Airtech mini Rx
Servo = 4.3g servos
Flying weight approx = 220g

the most important mod is chg the Rudder to a 200% bigger in size, I cut out from a 3min styloform for the new rudder..

Har a 2 chr Tx...... ......why you want to get it .....no throttle control for this type of scale micro plane is almost impossible to fly.... .....get a cheap 2nd hand 4 chr Tx will be much better. Just my 2 cents
