The only logical explanation is that he's asking falcon to give it to him so that he can throw it away for him loh, right?

Hmm is the motor that you bought a 20mm one? I believe it's more common to use a 28mm motor - might not be super fast but definitely should be enough to fly around. Think you didn't get a good match of motor with the 64mm fan.. (Sorry a bit out of touch already, so these are just my personal thoughts ya).

Didnt notice you were using a 20mm motor.I was told a 28mm motor must be used with a 64mm fan

Ong, 75amp ESC is over kill liao lah... WEIGHT PENALTY!!

Just grab one of those EDF outrunner motor and use the stock 64mm fan couple with 40 or 45amp ESC will do.

                Bro,

Typhoon 2w20 motor must use 4 cells, 2w motor then use 3 cell

                  Bro,

The 68mm fan cant fit into your plane. And the 2W-20 cannot fit into your current 64mm fan also... C.G is also an issue due to fan weight.

The HET system is a nice combo. In future if you want to get it, remember to get the 3S setup groupset

                  Regards

                    I have gotten the follwing

                    1) WeMotec 480 Pro Fan - 68mm
                    2) HET-75A ESC
                    3) 2w-20 motor
                    4) 4S-3300 35C Lipo

When trying to fix the motor to the FAN , can not centre the rotor ??
one , may be two of the fan blade touch the fan housing

I wouder anyone has the same problem before , I wanted to use drill
to adjust the mount hole of the fan housing , so that the motor can be centered , but not sure if is the right way , need some advice before
                    trying

Also I have fix the Prodriver to the motor , but do not know what is the gap
                    refer to picture 2w-20.jpg ?

                      Hi Falcon,

DO NOT drill out the mounting holes.

The rotor sits very tight in the housing to improve the efficiency hence a bit of adjusting will be required to get it right. As the blades have a clearance of only 1 mm all way around very small adjustments of the motor will make the difference between scraping blades and a free running fan.

                      First install the prop driver:
To do that, install the motor in the fan (do not fully tighten the screws) and slide the prop adapter over the shaft. Adjust the prop adapter so that the flat surface which will meet the rotor later sticks out around 2.0mm from the fan mount (see picture - I'm referring to the black line) - you can use the small allen key included in the kit as a guide.
This is required so that the rotor can run without binding on the center section.
Remove the motor, file flat spots on the motor shaft at the grub screw location and install the motor adapter - use loctite on the grub screws.

                      Next adjust the Motor:
Fix the motor back into the housing with the 2 screws. Do not yet fully tighten the screws. Next slide the rotor of the prop adapter. Check the clearance. If the blades touch one side, remove the rotor, open the screws just a little bit and carefully push the motor to the opposite side - just a little - tighten the screws again and trial fit the rotor again.

With a bit of trial and error you will get it dead center.
It takes a bit of time but the reward will be an extremely powerful and smooth running fan.

                        Hi, warbirds

Thank for you advice . I have done the adjustment , and
try to start and apply 1/2 and full power for a few time .

                        Everything seem ok .

Will install in Plane , and try to maiden it again this weekend

                        Thanks again
