If the pic was taken with a D70, then it must be photographer that caused the pic to be so blur.
If the camera isn't the problem, then change the photographer! hehe

wah dude...i'm impressed! from someone with no experience with this sort of stuff! kudos!!!

now it'll only be a matter of time before you do more intricate work....

yes i agree...clamping down the job itself is a challenge....

        once again good work...

and i agree with the camera post......you need togive me your camera dude.....its a complete waste in your hands!!

since mike is kindda busy these days with his new child/day care business to answer you so soon.
i'm sure he wont mind if i answer your Q on his behalf...

YES....you can cut the exact same thing without CNC....just takes more time and a Precision rotary table!

              overtki11,
              Thanks for your reply.

If I want to cut a square on a mill with an endmill, is there a special tool required for a rounded corner versus a clean 90degree corner.

              Cheers.

my "guess" is the closest you can get to a 90 degree angle in milled out square is by using a 2mm end mill? so your corner radius would be 1mm???? but then your job can't be too thick as the 2mm endmill can only mill so deep.....

once again...this is just my guess, there could very well me another tool one could use for 90 degree angle square???? although i cant think of any ....

perhaps someone else would care to give some input on this matter....

                anyone??

Wow...you are getting good at it Mike......

Wonder what is the total investment like to get these machines and software? Are the machines suitable for home workshops?

                            Thanks for sharing!

                              dun let u know

The total setup cost between $1000-$1200

The software is free limited to 1000 lines of command.

I will post a picture of my setup soon. Generally if you can put the machine into a 1m cube, you can contain all chips within and not fly all over the place Thats how I do it in my HDB room before I shifted the machine to an industrial premise.

                              Cheers

                              Mike
