Finishing up this build thread
Fuselage. The fuse is follows the Blaster 3 style fuse with the boom extending all the way to the nose. This makes the whole fuse very strong and servos very easy to access.
Servos used MKS DS6100.
Battery all the way forward, i m using 1s 680mah. mark out where the servos start. Remove the stickers from the servos as they will be glued down directly
Align servos starting from the first one in front. Alignment follow as per manual. Horns used are smallest horn, 7mm from center. It provides more than enough throws.
Trim and glue the pushrod sleeve to the carbon support pc
insert the pushrod and make Zbend
Final fuse layout
Antenna placement below make it as parallel to wing as you can
I ended with no weight needed in front, CG 67mm, AUW 247g.

Without ballast, is your cg same? At cg 63.5 it should be able to handle some wind, prob up to 4-5ms.
I like unballasted more and normally won't use unless the plane is flying backwards in cruise mode, while others like sherwin prefers ballast. Add ballast for thermals not wind if possible. The main concern is can you launch a heavier plane well and do you want to give up a little sink rate to cover more ground (to search for thermals or get away from sink). I find less effort needed to launch lighter plane. Experiment and see what suits you best.www.facebook.com/groups/BRslopers
