Unlike Sherwin's four-in-the-pod format, I built mine the conventional way with the servos in the wings. I still managed to keep the profile clean by using the top drive installation for the flaperons.

Put the Stark through its paces today and I am very happy with it. This glider flies so stable from the get go and after some tuning this baby flies like a dream. Firstly, this is the floatiest plan I have and does not penetrate as fast as the Stobel, but it does get to where I want it to go. Also it doesn't lose that much altitude even when travelling slow.

Without using the same amount of effort, I managed to get better average launch heights and match best launch heights I get from my other high end gliders. I believe this is due to the lower weight.

This being a foam core, makes the glider that much hardier compared to my hollow moulded ships. And if, touch wood, anything happens to the wings, it will be so much easier to repair.

This glider feels like a winner. In a pinch, I believe it will perform against pricier models, and I feel comfortable having two of these gliders in my quiver without burning a big hole in my pocket.

                Cheers,
                Adnan

Hi there, how was the flying on Saturday morning at Bidadari? Hope you found the place suitable for your DLGs.

A vid of Sherwin's and his green Stark. I really don't like the way that Youtube compresses the HD vids.

                    Cheers,

                      Adnan,

Thanks for posting the video. Strange looking at myself but one thing for sure... I'm camera shy. The plane was all over the place especially when you're doing close up like that.

One thing for sure, the Stark is definately a winner. If in good hands, it will no doubt win competitions.

                            Hi rt9,

Thanks for the reminder. I knew about this but time to time i will forget. Try to rememeber next time.

There are far worse things to forget by some of the pilots in DLG like launching the plane without turning on the tx or plug in the batt in the plane. Sound stupid but it happens.

Must remember to practise proper safety checks.
