-Pattern plane for intemediate pilots. (Not 3D capable, in my hands at least)

-covered with 0.75oz fibreglass + polyurethane
-crashed but repaired

-super agile mini sloper (18" WS)
-balsa construction with 1/32 balsa skinned wings + SHS lightweight covering film.

5. Bug glider with X-tail ($13)

-tail boom (5mm CF tube) cracked but no noticable effect on flying characteristics

-filled up panel lines in wings with balsa filler. Do a search, the panel lines intended to give a scale look supposedly resulted in undesirable flying characteristics.

Prices of used plane are priced to cover cost of electronics/build-material: HK servo ~$5, HS-55 ~$13, 1 sheet of balsa~$3-5

For planes from standard kits, take it as buying electronics and getting plane free.

For scratch built planes, its a chance to fly something not everyone can get their hands on

For NIB planes, well, its a good % discount from the prices offered at LHS.
