Help needed on lama v4

Hi bros into lama v4 heli,
I am facing some problems with my lama v4 as it would not hover and the tail boom kept spinning to the left..I have change both the motors and still did not improve. I have check the servos and both are balanced. Hope bros can help and advice..if any bros would like to give a hand to view and trim my lama, I would be grateful. I am staying in Sengkang..thanks

Just guessing

Not too sure how you call it but it is the bar (main shaft?) that link to the blade. Check if the blade holder is loose.

Hi gilmonster, thanks for the advice, however I have check the blade holder and other parts of the main rotor shaft..all are properly secure..juz wonder if I needed to trim the 4-1 receiver ?? Pls advice..thanks

hmm i am not sure if i am right... you might need to trim on the gyro itself to stop it from spinning..

It sounds like a gyro problem. You have to play around with the trimmers on the 4in1.

But it could still be other problems like stripped gears, screwing in the blades too tightly or a screw thats not tight on the outer or inner shaft.

How bad is the spinning? Totally out of control and it is not lifting?
Or it start spinning only after lifting abit?

If it is previously flying well, it might be worthwhile to check that all parts are well secured.

sounds like you need to reduce your gyro gain... And check if your blade pitch is 0 at no throttle and +11 at full throttle.

I had that problems before.. it took me few days to find the right person to help.. haha

You can start off by buying a pitch gauge. Tail spin occurs when there is too much gyro involved, while not lifting up is usually because it lacks thrust and blade is not in right angle to push the heli up. Have you had a crash recently?

Try watching youtube about blade pitch gauge. Hope it helps.
