Administrator, I know this is not the proper place to talk about non -rc topic. But it seems that this is the mostly visited place and the questions I am going to post need plenty of help for the bros and sis here.

Ok, here are my questions :
1. Windows cannot run on Ipad but is there alternative? I know the other way is by using emulation from the pc. But any other way besides this?

2. Is Ipad useful? Why? Only for games and media playing?

3. Can Ipad use Office - such as words, excel, power point, etc?

I know I can find all these answers from the internet. I did but most answer is not to my satisfaction and I want true experience from Ipad owner.

Ipad/Iphone are similar, not only for gaming & multimedia but it can really do wonders. In short, main thing is to create yr apple id for apps store application by default is in the Iphone/Ipad. Learn how to use 'app store' where u get yr all yr apps to download to yr Ipad. For Microsoft Office, there is an Apps called 'Documents to go Premium - Office Suite' where u need to purchase in 'app store' for US$16.99. Its a one time payment.

Why would u want to run windows on iPad2 ???

Bro,

1) Running windows in Ipad2 has definitely big limitations and the OS is not fine tuned to perform without software glitches. Although iPad2 is dual-core doesn't mean u should shorten it's life by increasing temperature on your batt running PC complete base programs. It's just isn't feasible.

2) Using iPad2 are for people who either wishes to read / see / record or email at big screens. Games from appstore primarily or for agents to show portfolios to their clients in terms of pictures, pdfs. If you're into work pls get a decent notebook or netbook or macbook.

3) Apple iPad2 have compatible Office programs that reads & writes Word / Excel / Powerpoint but u need pay at appstore. Transferring out data & docs have to be either wireless via pc or thru' email and webspace.

4) Flash support is absolutely an issue with Apple products although there are 3rd party programs to add. Since Jobs don't get along real well with Adobe.

5) For the price of 64GB iPad2 u can get 2 netbooks, one for your email and another for viewing daddyhobby. How's that? Unless u wish to feel good carrying iPad with those multimedia features. Decision is yours..

I had mine but I dun feel any difference except that the words are interpolated when I twitched my 2 fingers to enlarge as usual.

I bought the Ipad 2 after checking with the software supplier(this software runs it website and the reason for buying ipad is to use it when on the move, eg train, bus, walking, etc. I travel alot and it is quite inconvenient to carry a notebook or netbook while moving.) and the supplier said it was able to run on Ipad as long as it can goes to the web.

But it was discovered that the website has charts running on adobe flash. Only then I known that Ipad is not suitable for the software which run on it web page. I am frustrated.

While the supplier's technical support team is looking into it, anyone know how to run adobe flash on ipad?

I think I made a mistake believing the supplier.

hi u can try also galaxy tab it was good performing on documents and supports adobe, phone cal,l sms, 3gs, HD. SPEED IS OKEY..but still ipad2 is more better only problem is dosnt supprt adobe flash and no sms or phone call

Since you bought the ipad 2 in realizing that Apple dun like Adobe Flash which u had been advised, u need either search for a browser addon for it or consult the supplier whom u bought with. Even if I tried convincing you it won't help as you believe your judgement more bro. I've been in IT for darn 18years.

Brothers, I think you've mis-interpreted his intentions or you might have decoding problems. His need is to run "Adobe Flash" as well as loading "Windows 7 Home Premium" or "Windows 7 Ultimate" of either 32bits or 64bits "Operating Systems"..

Only emulated Citrix under the following link can emulate Desktop works and doing standard spreadsheets. Of course if you wish to operate your PC from home just register http://www.logmein.com at your pc and download "logmein" app from appstore. This will allow full control remotely for temporary.

Bearing in mind with Apple, all programs are purchased via appstore and you need an itune "Local" account. If it is overseas, u need a valid US address or a giftcard. U have do that via vpost for an address. Giftcards numbers are available on net via paypal & transmit to u via email in minutes. Apple do not explain everythings in detail and there are limitations as it is a monopoly in control. I shan't explain further but leave it to the developers and crackers in this case.

Now, to have iPad2 connect to web is easy, it already has Wifi and 3G. Wifi just need approach any wireless hotspot and you could link free with govt wireless SG private sector. With regard to 3G, u need a "Data Plan" with service provider and you need to """""PAY"""""" for each volume or time based.

Iphone all along supports "Internet tethering" and u just have to slide activate while connecting the cord or bluetooth to link via it to internet. Bearing in mind it's bluetooth is different IC versions and not every bluetooth may pair up and transfer files without appropriate jailbreak programs.

I was smiling away at all our brothers PCM & PPM, FM & 2.4Ghz differences but nevertheless grace be with u all.

& oh yes, u cannot connect any other devices thru' iPad2 or iPhone unless u've jailbreak and loaded and "Access Point" program. For instance when u're left with no cable and there isn't any wifi hotspots, your friend pc or laptop needs internet, establishing wireless to Apple products treating it as a channel require "3rd party" programs.

There are guys ten times much better than me out there brother, & mostly in the trade they are either good at hands, unable/dunno how to explain or due to their trade specialty they would rather keep their darn mouths shut.
