WTS: Hirobo SST Eagle2 GS

This is a 2-stroke petrol helicopter, not nitro aka glow-fuel.
Engine size is 24cc. Power may be equivalent to .60-size nitro.
Stock blades are 660mm, presently installed blades are 680mm carbon-FRP FunKey.
Flying weight is 6kg, or slightly less.
Some advantages:
- Running cost is much cheaper than glow-fuel
- Practically no visible smoke, unless you like visible smoke
- Less oil residues all over the heli, compared to glow
- No glow plug and electric starter needed. Just a pull-cord, which can be tiring, if things are not set up right.
Some disadvantages:
- parts are less common
- petrol odour might be worse than glow-fuel
- louder than glow
Price is $600.
Includes:
- Tail stuff: GY501 + S9205
- Cyclic servos: 3 pieces of HG-D650HB
- FunKey 680mm CFRP main blades (one set)
- Switching UBEC: HobbyWing 8A, 15A max, for 2/3S Lipo
- misc tools and parts
Excludes:
- Receiver
- Batteries
i.e. To fly, you need to have, transmitter, batt for receiver, petrol + 2T oil.
More photos and discussion in my thread here. As you can see, I bought this kit in 1998 from SHS for $1850, and the GY501+S9205 was $560.
